Novartis Consumer Health (NCH) is pleased to announce that Excedrin® Migraine began shipping in the United States on October 15 and has begun to appear on store shelves. We anticipate that Excedrin® Extra Strength will ship to stores in January 2013 and start to appear on store shelves in February. We are working to bring other Novartis Consumer Health products back to market on a line-by-line, product-by-product basis.

Novartis Consumer Health is aware that some customers have been confused about the expiration date on new bottles of Excedrin® Migraine.
First, we want to assure you that Excedrin® Migraine, which returned to market in the United States last month, continues to be safe and effective when used as directed on the package label.
To confirm that you have the recently manufactured Excedrin® Migraine product that shipped in October and is currently on store shelves, please check your packaging for any of the following criteria:
If the bottle has a Lot number that is 7 digits long and has two letters as its second and third digits, it was not part of the voluntary recall that took place earlier this year. The Lot number is located on the side of the box and on the back of the label on the bottle above the expiration date.
OR
If the bottle has the following NDC numbers, it was not part of the voluntary recall that took place earlier this year. The NDC numbers are located on the upper left corner of the front panel of the box, and on the upper right corner of the front label of the bottle.
For 24 count Excedrin® Migraine: 0067-8103-24
For 100 count Excedrin® Migraine: 0067-8103-91
For 200 count Excedrin® Migraine: 0067-8103-92
For 300 count Excedrin® Migraine: 0067-8103-33
